*NEW* JICC Auditorium
Celebrate summer at the new JICC with the highly anticipated follow-up to director Mamoru Hosoda's award-winning feature The Girl Who Leapt through Time.
Kenji is a socially-inept high school mathlete who spends most of his time immersed in Oz, an all-encompassing virtual reality where people and governments alike handle everything online--from shopping to traffic control and even nuclear launch codes. But when Natsuki, the most popular girl in school and Kenji's secret crush, asks if he needs a job for the summer, Kenji jumps at the chance.
His mission: pretend to be Natsuki's boyfriend for her grandmother's 90th birthday bash. Things are going great until he solves a math riddle sent to his cell phone, unwittingly undermining Oz's security to unleash a massive virus that threatens to destroy virtual and real world alike. As the nation grinds to a standstill, Kenji, Natsuki and her entire family must work together to clear his name and save the country from absolute chaos.
