Embassy of Japan
November 30, 2015
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will host a delegation of ten Asian-American leaders from December 6-13, 2015. The delegation will comprise senior Asian-American leaders who are top leaders in their professions. The program provides opportunities for the selected group of leaders from across the U.S. to travel to Japan to engage with Japanese leaders in the business, government, academic and cultural sectors.
This visit will be the second in what is planned as an annual event modeled after the highly successful and long-running Japanese American Leadership Delegation Program. The inaugural visit was a success as indicated in the report below.
The Government of Japan intends to further enhance the already strong relationship between Japan and the United States through such direct, people-to-people exchanges.
