To open our "In Training" bonsai photography exhibition, photographer Stephen Voss will present a special lecture on his works and the importance of bonsai. He will then be joined by Jack Sustic, Curator of the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum, who will provide an introduction to the museum, highlight some of the museum's most important bonsai trees, describe arrangement techniques, and present a hands-on wild tree bonsai demonstration.
The Japan Information and Culture Center, in partnership with the U.S. National Arboretum and the National Bonsai Foundation, is proud to present "In Training: Bonsai Photography of Stephen Voss," as its 2016 summer showcase. This exhibition features the works of DC-based photographer, Stephen Voss, and the bonsai from the National Arboretum.
