In this short film, director Joseph Krakora interweaves poetry with photographs and television footage of the March 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami disaster into a thoughtful mosaic of the hearts and minds of the Japanese people.
A panel discussion and Q&A session will follow the evening (6:30 p.m.) screening only, including director Joseph Krakora and Embassy of Japan Minister of Public Affairs Masato Ohtaka, with moderator Shigeko Bork, founder of askshigeko.com.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please note that seating is limited and registration does not guarantee guests a seat. Registered guests will be seated on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 6:00pm. No admission or re-entry after 7:00pm.
