2016 Nengajo Contest Winners

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2016 JICC Nengajo Competition! Held from November 16th through December 14th, the contest attracted a record-breaking 214 nengajo submissions from participants around the world. The annual nengajo contest was established in 2010 as a way to spread the Japanese tradition of New Year's cards to the English-speaking world. Over the years, we have received hundreds of stunning submissions, bringing the joy of this traditional Japanese greeting card to those around the world and warming the hearts of many. You can see and comment all the wonderful entries for our sixth annual nengajo contest on our Facebook page or on our Flickr gallery, or stop by the JICC during the month of January to see the exhibition.
