Designed by the architectural firm Delano and Aldrich in the Neo-Georgian style, the former residence is a designated National Historical Landmark with a long and interesting history.

Unfortunately, due to the historical nature of the building, The Old Ambassador's Residence is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that parking is not available at the Embassy.
Passport DC is an annual celebration of international culture presented by Cultural Tourism DC which showcases Washington DC’s embassies and cultural organizations with tours of more than 70 embassies and hundreds of events.
Passport DC Around the World Embassy Tour allows visitors and residents to celebrate and sample international culture and heritage in Washington, DC Over 40 embassies, representing six continents, will offer family-friendly events showcasing art, music, traditional dress, and much more.
