Passport DC Around The World Embassy Tour Special Event

Presented by JICC, Embassy of Japan and Cultural Tourism DC

Experience Japan right here in the heart of Washington DC! Join us as we celebrate Passport DC's Around the World Embassy Tour at the Old Ambassador's Residence with various displays of traditional Japanese culture and modern technology, as well as tasty treats!

This year's displays will feature:

  • Japanese food
  • Science and technology
  • Advanced transportation technology
  • And much more!

Also, don't miss this chance to explore the Old Ambassador's residence, only open to the public once or twice a year! Designed by the architectural firm Delano and Aldrich in the Neo-Georgian style, the former residence is a designated National Historical Landmark with a long and interesting history.

Come explore Japanese culture without ever having to leave DC!

Please remember that due to overwhelming response in the past, we are expecting long lines to form. We may not be able to accommodate all guests after the specified times. Line closes at 3:30pm.

Unfortunately, due to the historical nature of the building, The Old Ambassador's Residence is not wheelchair accessible. Please note that parking is not available at the Embassy.
