It's summer vacation! School is out and fun times are ahead.
The JICC is happy to present summertime activities this month to spark children's imaginations and help them learn about Japan through play!
Join us for story time with Kamishibai paper theater, a traditional form of storytelling that has delighted Japanese children for generations, and accompanying activities for children to enjoy, such as interactive displays, puzzles and traditional toys from Japan.
Children will also learn about the Tanabata Star Festival, one of the significant summer celebrations in Japan. Join us for one or all of our sessions!
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please note that seating is limited and registration does not guarantee guests a seat. Registered guests will be seated on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 6:00pm. No admission or re-entry after 7:00pm.
