Fine, Totally Fine October Spooktacular J-Film

Presented by JICC, Embassy of Japan and the Japan Commerce Association of Washington DC

Teruo may spend his days trimming trees, but by night he dreams of opening a truly terrifying haunted house. Holed up in a flat with his father above the family bookshop, this twenty-something slacker spends his days like a child: plotting spooky practical jokes with his big-dreaming pals, blissfully unaware of their encroaching adulthood. The only friend who seems to have his feet on the ground is Hisanobu, who happens to shares a birthday with Teruo but still managed to land a respectable job as a hospital administrator. But when a clumsily cute girl stumbles into their lives, will their friendship and dreams survive?

Winner of the Audience Prize at Frankfurt’s Nippon Connection, Fine Totally Fine is a creepy comedy for the scaredy cats in all of us!
