Japan in the Park Golden Triangle Farragut Fridays
Presented by JICC, Embassy of Japan and the Golden Triangle BID
The JICC is holding a pop up booth on Friday, June 9th in Farragut Square Park as part of Golden Triangle BID’s Farragut Fridays, Picnic in the Park event. As a way to build community among Golden Triangle workers, DMV residents and strolling visitors, Farragut Fridays is an all day, outdoor event which focuses on collaboration, innovation, and fun!
The JICC is happy to present origami, or paper folding, along with a special workshop on Japanese calligraphy, the art of writing Japanese Kanji characters with ink and brush, at this year’s Farragut Fridays! Come join JICC for an afternoon of fun and learning!
