The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will be joining us before the movie for a special presentation by Deputy Director of the JAXA Washington DC Office Isao Kotani on the technologies of GUNDAM and how they compare to current technologies.
The presentation will begin at 6:00 PM, and auditorium doors will open at 5:30 PM (please note the JICC will be open for extended exhibition hours from 5:00 - 6:00 PM). Please join us for this unique opportunity!
Prior to coming to Washington DC to become Deputy Director, Isao Kotani was a research engineer at both the Tanegashima and Tsukuba Space Centers. There he worked on development on the H-IIB, Epsilon, and H3 rockets, as well as working on ground facility design for assembly and launch.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required for security purposes. Doors open 30 minutes prior to screening and will close once seating is full or promptly at 7:00pm. Registered guests will be seated on a first come, first served basis. Please note that seating is limited and registration does not guarantee guests a seat.
