The Bamboo Princess Kamishibai Storytime

Presented by JICC, Embassy of Japan

School's out for summer and the fun has just begun at the JICC! We've teamed up with our friends at the Japan-America Society of Washington DC to bring you our Kamishibai Story Time series. Kamishibai is a traditional Japanese form of storytelling using large, illustrated picture boards to bring the tales to life.

Join us for our summer series finale as we share the story of Kaguyahime, The Bamboo Princess. Afterwards children will have the chance to fold their own paper princes and princesses to take home.

We hope to see you there!
