Paul MacLardy is the owner of Arise Bazaar, a retail business headquartered in the Washington, DC area,
specializing in Japanese and Asian textiles, antiques, furniture, art, and artifacts.
He has lectured and mounted numerous exhibits of Japanese kimono at museums and Japanese cultural events. Additionally, MacLardy has evaluated Japanese collections for universities and private owners.
MacLardy is the co-author of two editions of Kimono, Vanishing Tradition: Japanese Textiles of the 20th Century.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration through Eventbrite is required.
